CEO Mavins record, Don Jazzy, has again proved his genius by revealing earlier today, that he had signed former Triple MG star, Iyanya, to his label. Speaking on the deal via a statement, the ace producer attributed it to Iyanya’s “versatility” saying: “From the first time I stepped into the studio with him, there was an instant chemistry and energy. He is an amazing talent and he has great musical versatility. “This is an exciting time for us and our fans have a lot of great music to look forward to. Iyanya brings his own unique style and sound to the Mavin Records family.”

The new deal came as a result of Iyanya, signing a management deal with Temple Management, a creative talent agency, whose sole aim is to aid the singer in launching a new phase in his career. Speaking on the new record deal, Iyanya said: “I am at a decision-making curve in my music career where I have to make the right professional and creative decisions. At this point, I realised the need to put in solid structures in place to move to the next level of my career. “I think I have found that professional and creative backbone in Mavin Records.” Is Signing for Mavin Records the right step for Iyanya ? Stand-up comedy concert, The Chronicles of Ushbebe Live is back! The event headlined by hilarious/versatile comedian, actor and on air personality Ushbebe with a fantastic blend of drama, dance and music from the biggest entertainers. I was just watching some football pranks on Youtube when i stumbled on this video "PLAYERS PRANKED | Lampard, Kolarov, Clichy & Sagna | Manchester City April Fools" and to my greatest surprise i heard the chorus of Iyanya's Mr.Oreo being played by some Manchester City's players. The launch of Seyi Shay’s debut album “Seyi or Shay” was quite a fun event, held on Friday November 13th at the Grand Ballroom of the Eko Hotel & Suites, Lagos. The event was star-studded as several of Nigeria’s top celebrities stepped out to celebrate with Seyi Shay. Banky W, Asa, Sound Sultan, Waje, Omawumi, Iyanya, Ubi Franklin, Fade Ogunro, Cynthia Morgan, Chidinma, Cobhams Asuquo, Sika Osei, Illrhymz, Jesse Jagz, Bolanle Olukanni, Toke Makinwa, Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Latasha Ngwube, Emmanuel Ikubese, Omalicha, Yvonne ‘Vixen’ Ekwere, Marcy Dolapo Oni, Lilian Afegbai, Ehiz, Eva, Boj, Niyola, Tunde Demuren and many more were spotted at the event.

 Seyi Shay wowed the audience with track after track off her new album while dressed in a gorgeous white skirt suit by the Okunoren Twins and then later changed into a white jumpsuit. The night was closed out by Banky W and Iyanya who joined Seyi Shay on stage for a performance of the remix of her hit song “Right Now”.

Triple MG Star act, Iyanya has unvield new pictures promoting online retail store, Yudala Online. The music star is a brand ambassador for Yudala and they have released new photos for their ongoing campaign. In the photos the Triple MG artist channels different cultural looks from Nigeria including the Igbo attire, Hausa attire and Yoruba attire.

Ever wondered what some of your favorite male celebs will look like if they were females? Well, graphic artist @aaronitems, who has proficient skills in Photoshop, has made a series where he changed some males celebs into females.

The Nigerian Broadcasting Commission has released a list of songs that should not be played on Nigerian radio and television outfits.A number of reasons were giving for banning the songs, which include both Nigerian and international songs.Some, like Phyno‘s Yayo and Nicki Minaj’s Anaconda were banned for having “obscene videos.”

Others, like Reminisce’s Tesojue and Lil Kesh’s Gbese, were banned for having “vulgar lyrics.” Olamide appeared most on the list, with Bobo, Falila Ketan, and Masterkraft’s Indomie all banned from broadcasting. See the full list below.

Kukere Crooner, Iyanya is set to drop his third album titled Baby Daddy and the official release date is on the 10th of September, 2015.He announced the launch of his third album via his instagram page.The album launch is Set to take place in Abuja, at This Day Dome on the19th of September, 2015.
