YBNL kicks-off its last quarter 2015 push with a brand new single from Now-rated act, Lil Kesh. The song titled “Is It Because I Love You” features Patoranking and is produced by YBNL in-house hitmakers Young John and Pheelz. “Is It Because I Love You” shows a side of Kesh we haven’t seen prior to this: “Kesh the loverboy“. This should be a hit among the ladies, and of course gentlemen like me who appreciate quality love songs regardless of the genre or tempo.

The nominations for the MOBO Awards 2015 have been announced, with the African act category of special interest to Nigeria.Four Nigerian musicians are in running for the Best African Act award. They are Wizkid, Patoranking, Davido, and Yemi Alade.

One of Africa’s biggest music making labels, Made Men Music Group, has released the first official tracklist of the album “Applaudise”, by her flagship pop star Iyanya. “Applaudise” is named after the core themes of the album, which shows Iyanya, projecting celebration, happiness, and all the good feelings that come with being in a state of joy. The album contains four previously released hit singles, and 16 new songs to give listeners enough of Iyanya’s magic. A number of the best entertainers on the African continent collaborated on this project, bringing in their mastery and top-notch talent to make the album one of the best bodies of work, to be released in 2015. Bankyw, Patoranking, Tekno, Selebobo Olamide, Lil Kesh, Victoria Kimani, Harrysong,kcee, Seyi Shay, Don Jazzy,Mc Galaxy, Efya and sarkodie from Ghana Diamond platinumz from tanzania, Mystro and Dammykrane are on this album. Production of this project was handled by a select group of music makers and engineers which include MMMG in-house producers DJ Coublon,the proven Tee-Y Mix, Spellz, Black Jerzy, Selebobo,Mystro Princeton, Wizzy Pro, and London Boys, Mr Chido. “Applaudise” will be released on September 19, 2015, to digital and local stores.

Nigerian dance-hall star, Patoranking is headed for a tour of the United States of America. The singer has announced that his ‘What Ya Say Tour’ packaged by Big A entertainment is set to kick off this month where he’ll perform at major US cities like Dallas, Washington, New York, Atlanta and other cities.Patoranking also earlier disclosed to MTV Base that plans are in place to ensure an album release later this year and also wishes to feature International reggae artistes like Beenie man and Sean Paul. “There are plans for the album to be released soon. Hopefully, later in the year”. Patoranking said.

YBNL recording act Adekunle Gold just won a plot of land in Lekki courtesy of Adron Homes.  The singer beats Olamide Patoranking, Olamide, Koker and Kiss Daniel to cop the “Beat Of Lagos 2015 Award". 

After dropping “Coco Baby“, Waje features Patoranking in this spanking new ragga tune titled “Left For Good“. This joint also features a violin performance by Godwin strings. This is the first single off her upcoming second album – “Red Note Blues“. Produced by E-Kelly, Waje’s skillful fusion of reggae, soul and haunting lyrics is outstanding on this tune.
