In September 2015, Psquare and Soundcity TV were involved in a bitter twitter war. Soundcity, had stopped airing videos by Nigeria’s pop twins, P-Square, since January of that year. They had invited the singing duo to an event but they insisted Sound City pay a certain amount of money. While trying to negotiate, Jude Okoye, their the manager had pointed out ‘What has Soundcity ever done for P-Square? Tell me one thing Soundcity has ever done for PSquare’.For that reason Sound City stopped airing Psquare’s music videos. All these was revealed during the twitter war between Sound City and Psquare last year, but the good news today is both parties have agreed for peace to reign.

The heat of the mountain has finally erupted into a volcano. The Underground beef between Music giants SoundCity and the iconic Psquare has been blown open on the Internet's favourite battlefield; Twitter. It began with Peter Okoye of Psquare replying a fan's tweet about Soundcity not playing their videos. Peter also indirectly called for a boycott of the music channel, suggesting other stations where to get their music. SoundCity responded with a statement stating their reasons for not airing Psquare's videos.That should have ended it, but this is where it gets even more interesting.

Jude Okoye, the elder brother and manager of super duo, P-Square took to Twitter to blast Sound City for their explanation of why they do not air P-Square videos.ude Okoye Engees was not having any of that and called out Sound City for assuming they were entitled to privileges for playing the duo’s video. He also reminded Sound City that they do not pay royalties as they ought to and artists have never complained, and so on. Read his rant below.
