Comedian Bright Okpocha popularly known as Basketmouth bumped into Africa's richest man and president of Dangote group -Aliko Dangote at Lennox shopping and below is what he had to say after he meet.

Sean Tizzle has said he is not sure if Basket Mouth contacted his management team like he said he did and they asked him to pay a fee, he says if at all he did and they asked him for an amount, the comedian should have contacted him, because he sees him like an uncle in the industry and he respects him. Below is what Sean Tizzle said about the matter to Saturday Beats; “It is cool that everything is out there. If Basketmouth has any issue with me, I would have expected that he would call me and speak with me. I see Basketmouth as an uncle. If he called anybody from my management team, there should be verification and if he did not like what they told him, he could have called me to inform me. “Nobody contacted us to tell us that they wanted us to be at his show. Even if somebody contacted us, I would have thought that it should be directed towards me personally instead of going through my management team. If it happened, I would have expected that it would be resolved immediately without the news getting out to the public. It is something we could have resolved amicably. We were not contacted to perform at his show.”

He also emphasized that when the news broke his manager contacted Basket Mouth immediately. “Let’s be logical, if Basketmouth with what he has done for me should contact me for a show, I cannot give him a ridiculous price. I did not know anything and I learnt about it when the news broke. I was so shocked when I heard the news. It is true that he has supported my career and I really appreciate him for supporting my brand. We tried to reach out to him when the news broke but we could not get a hold of any of his management team. Rico, my manager, sent Basketmouth a Whatsapp message immediately the news broke. They talked about it and we are in good terms with Basketmouth because we have spoken about it and cleared it all out. We have a good relationship with him and we have sorted everything out,” he said.

Sean Tizzle has responded after comedian Basketmouth said he doesn’t like him.The ace comedian called Sean Tizzle out out on HipTV for charging a ridiculous amount of money when he invited him for his show in December 2014. Basketmouth was quoted to have said on HipTV that: ‘I called on Sean Tizzle and he was charging me a certain amount of money, I didn’t know if it was him or his management that charged me, but I don’t care, I had to tell my team to blacklist his name on any of my shows’. I called on Olamide who’s even a more buzzing act, and he said I can pay him anything I feel like, and he didn’t even ask of his money until way after the show before I paid him’. Basketmouth stated that he doesn’t know what to choose between a pair of expensive Giuseppe Zanotti sneakers and his children’s school fees. Bright Okpocha shared a picture of a black studded Giuseppe Zanotti with a zipper on his Instagram today (September 10) with the caption “Children’s school fees or these?“

Last year, Sean Tizzle rocked a pair of Guiseppe Zanotti Sneakers; the blue spiked sneakers are reportedly worth N500,000, it’s a limited edition with only 500 pairs made.

Basketmouth has apologized to D’Banj and Davido after his joke about their MAMA win got on the other side of the two. He took to his Instagram page to apologize to the two artistes on Thursday night. Basketmouth wrote:-
  “@iambangalee and @davidoofficial my sincere apologies for what I said, it was taken out of context, It was a build up to a joke and was edited to make it look like I was dissing you guys. I’m honestly sorry…..one love guys. When I’m back from my tour….we meet up and drink up…..#water”

We’ve always known Davido as one of those people who doesn’t backdown in a fight, celebrity or not, Davido will attack you if he feels you attacked him first. Veteran Nigerian comedian, Basketmouth, recently shaded Davido during his uncensored concert in Houston, Texas. The comedian said “Davido won above WizKid, which is quite strange, but it’s allowed.. It’s allowed.”
