Brymo gears towards the release of his next album which is slated for March next year. As we prep towards that, here is this jazz rhythm from the singer titled Do You Know Me?. The track was written & performed by Brymo and produced by Adey Omotade for Blackstar Productions.

The September album release buzz just got fiercer as talented music act, Brymo has disclosed plans to release his first international album in September. Titled Trance, it’s the singer’s 5th album and is coming on the heels of the new record deal Brymo just signed with American label, TMG. In a statement released by Bymo’s manager, Lanre Lawal, the record company will distribute the new album all over the United States: ‘Oklahoma based Record Label & Music Publishing Company, TMG set to release Brymo’s first International album titled Trance. 

Fans & music lovers in the United States will be able to buy physical copies of Brymo’s albums in music stores.’ With the announcement, he has added his name to the list of top music acts to drop albums in September including Wizkid, Davido, Iyanya and Brymo’s former label mate, Jesse Jagz. Brymo’s previous albums are Brymstone (2007), TheSonOfaKapenta (2012), Merchants, Dealers, & Slaves (2013) and Tabula Rasa (2014)....

In a recent interview with Goldmyne, former Choc City record label singer, Olawale Ashimi a.k.a. Brymo disclosed that he would never go back to the music label. According to the singer, after the dispute he had with the record label in 2013, it is only natural for him to leave and never to come back. He added that it was only business that kept them together but for Jesse Jagz, it is more that business. “I can assure you that my core followers won’t expect me to go back and it is more than business for Jesse. It is family, so his going back is expected. But for me, it was contract that tied us together and since it has been broken and they dragged me to court, it was only natural that I go my way. I would also appreciate the media to stop talking about me going back to Chocolate City because it would never happen,” he said. It would be recalled that in 2013, the split and legal tussle involving Brymo and Chocolate City made the headlines. It lingered, but finally ended in favour of the singer. Since then, Brymo decided to pursue his career without leaning on any label for survival.

Former Chocolate City artist Brymo is set to release his 4th studio album, titled ‘Tabula Rasa’. Slated for release on 30th October, this will be Brymo’s first album following his recent battle and eventual exit from Choc City. The album Tabula Rasa, said to mean ‘Blank Slate’ which already has one single Fe Mi blazing on music charts, has been made available for preorder on Amazon.
