Telnted soul/ R&B singer, Darey Art Alade finally hit nationwide stores with his fourth studio album entitled Naked. Naked which contains 13 thirteen tracks would now be available for purchase in both CD and digital formats to fans of the musician.The album features collaborations with Asa on Inside Of You, Olamide on Asiko Laiye Remix and the Soweto Gospel Choir on Pray For Me. Other tracks on the album include Delilah, Orekelewa, Aya Mi, Champion and others.

The diversity that forms part of the Darey’s latest album, Naked is apparent on a song like Asiko Laiye, which draws its prime influence from the Father of contemporary African music, Fela Anikulapo Kuti. The serious, yet light hearted tune is an ode to Afrobeat, but with the vocal delivery of an R n’ B song, fused with the African “street-hop” flavor contributed by Nigerian indigenous Hip-Hop superstar, Olamide who features on the track. Despite the danceable nature of the song, true to the Spirit of Afrobeat, Darey is able to deliver a very strong message to the dance floor, without missing a beat.

Two of the most talented Nigerian artistes out there Dare Art Alade and Asa have been in the studio cooking something our ears can’t wait to feed on. Asa released an album last year but Darey on the other hand hasn’t even released a single in more than 2 years let to talk of an album. Darey however revealed a new album is on the way but we are not sure that will arrive this year. Hopefully the record with Asa arrives in time this summe.
