Starboy frontman and Headies artiste of the year Wizkid releases his last single for the year 2016 Daddy Yo. With Efya on the hook, and Mutay (Legendury Beatz) in the cut.

Star Boy WorldWide Records is about to take over the music world. The label owned by Nigerian artiste Wizkid has signed three Ghanaian artistes: Efya, R2Bees and Mr. Eazi to his stable. He made the announcement during his performance at the 2016 Ghana Music Awards. It is another career feat for the act who was featured on Drake’s ‘One Dance’ off his current album VIEWS. They also worked on a remix of the former’s street anthem ‘Ojuelegba’. He has also worked with Chris Brown and Wale. R2Bees and Efya have collaborated with Wizkid on a number of records. For the Ghanaian artistes, it is a big step towards their desire to work with American artistes and hopefully invade the American music market. See his tweets below:

One of Africa’s biggest music making labels, Made Men Music Group, has released the first official tracklist of the album “Applaudise”, by her flagship pop star Iyanya. “Applaudise” is named after the core themes of the album, which shows Iyanya, projecting celebration, happiness, and all the good feelings that come with being in a state of joy. The album contains four previously released hit singles, and 16 new songs to give listeners enough of Iyanya’s magic. A number of the best entertainers on the African continent collaborated on this project, bringing in their mastery and top-notch talent to make the album one of the best bodies of work, to be released in 2015. Bankyw, Patoranking, Tekno, Selebobo Olamide, Lil Kesh, Victoria Kimani, Harrysong,kcee, Seyi Shay, Don Jazzy,Mc Galaxy, Efya and sarkodie from Ghana Diamond platinumz from tanzania, Mystro and Dammykrane are on this album. Production of this project was handled by a select group of music makers and engineers which include MMMG in-house producers DJ Coublon,the proven Tee-Y Mix, Spellz, Black Jerzy, Selebobo,Mystro Princeton, Wizzy Pro, and London Boys, Mr Chido. “Applaudise” will be released on September 19, 2015, to digital and local stores.

Mr. Eazi will release his second song following the hit single “Bankulize”. The new single is called “Skin Tight” features Multi-Award Winning Ghanaian Songstress, Efya. The song was produced by Juls of BBnZ Live Records.

Now Muzik recording artiste, EFA has released his latest offering titled ‘Fall In Love’ featuring the legendary Plantashun Boiz. The song, released on Valentine’s Day, February 14 2015, is EFA’s first song for the year. According to EFA, ‘the song is a celebration of young love and reminisces on the good times gone by wishing they would come back. The writing is intentionally tongue-in-cheek and real because real life is not Hollywood.’ Interestingly, it is one of the few times any artiste would manage to feature all three members of Plantashun Boiz in the nearly 20-year history of the group’s existence.
As expected, EFA is excited by that fact, saying: ‘In my few years of recording and performing, I have been blessed enough to be on songs with some great artistes. But I don’t think anything compares to working in the studio with the Plantashun Boiz. On top of that, knowing that, X-Appeal apart, I’m the only artiste who can claim to have worked with 2Face, Blackface and Faze as a group is totally awesome.’
