Obafemi Martins to earn N1.4B at Shanghai Shenhua

Super Eagles striker, Obafemi Martins is set to earn over N1.4b ($6.6 million) in his first year at Chinese Super League side, Shanghai Shenhua. Martins became the latest player to move to the Chinese Super League after swapping the Seattle Sounders for Shanghai Shenhua. Martins took to Twitter to confirm his transfer to Shenhua last week, ending his three-year association with the Sounders in MLS.
