Five Star Music artiste Skiibii was on air yesterday at Cool FM where he had a chat with Dotun Kayode about his death controversy. In the chat he addresses the rumours and explains that he usually has blackouts, where he’d just pass out either due to excitement or anxiety, and that was what happened to him on that particular day.

He explained that he’s been crying since the incident and he was shocked when he woke up to read several RIP messages. He was even more shocked to read that people thought it was a stunt. In the Cool FM studio, Kcee and Harrysong were also present. Kcee announced that he had fired his longtime manager and friend, Soso Sobrekan, and he also took a moment to apologise to Nigerians for the scandal. Watch the video below.

Five Star Music releases statement denying Skiibii's Publicity Stunt

The Management of Five Star Music Entertainment has released an official Statement regarding the supposed death of their artiste Skiibii. They released some pictures of Skiibii supposedly in a hospital receiving treatment with the statement below.
 OFFICIAL STATEMENT, UPDATE ON SKIIBII’S CONDITION: ‘SKIIBII COLLAPSED, ADMITTED BUT RECOVERING IN HOSPITAL ‘We the entire Five Star Music received with great shock the news of the demise of our artiste in the person of Abbey Toyyib Elias a.k.a Skiibii. The wide spread rumor of Skiibii being dead that shook the airwaves and social media platforms this morning is confirmed false. The 22 year old talented musician signed to Five Star Music is fine and alive. Given that he had a minor health issue this morning, He collapsed and was rushed by his brother & his friends to a nearby hospital from where he was taken to a more equipped hospital by the intervention of the CEO of Five Star Group for further treatment. Skiibii is currently recuperating at a private hospital, Please disregard negative information hitherto passed. Death is not something to play with. Kcee and Five Star Manager Soso Soberekon are currently in Europe on a tour. On his suppose demise as confirmed by Five Star Music or the label’s manager – At best, it was a miscommunication. Nigerians woke to a very sad news about the death of Five Star Music singer Skiibii who according to Reports died of an Heart Failure. But a top source Kcee ho happens to be labelmate with Skiibii shared the photo below with this caption:
