The official artwork for Lady GaGa's "ARTPOP" has been unveiled. The Mother Monster took to Twitter on Monday, October 7 to share the album cover, which was designed by artist Jeff Koons. "FULL ARTPOP ALBUM COVER.'One second I'm a Koons, then suddenly the Koons is me!' ApplauseJeffKoons," she tweeted. The catchy artwork features a sculpture of naked GaGa, which was also created by Koons. GaGa's name is written in bright pink letters, while the album's title is written in front of a big blue ball which covers the statue's private parts. According to GaGa's Twitter post, the sculpture will be on display at
her "ARTPOP" release party on November 10. "There is also a surprise!

Prior to revealing the cover art to the world, GaGa praised Koons and admitted that she felt nervous. "Please welcome Jeff Koons into our family + shower him with love for the the talents he has shared with us. A pure and genuine collaborator," she wrote. "I'm nervous and excited to share something that's such a piece of my heart. Something I cherish deeply. A real depiction of my mind through his," she continued.
Set to be released on November 11, "ARTPOP" has spawned a single called "Applause", which is currently sitting at Billboard 100's No. 9. GaGa's new song called "Aura" is recently featured in a trailer for upcoming movie "Machete Kills".

It's such a shame that artists feel they have to go to extra ordinary extents to sell albums now days, i don't only blame the artist i also blame Lady Gaga's record label and PR team as they are the ones who have control over the whole image she puts out, absolutely shameful and disgusted with that album cover think it should be banned, its bordering on porn not music.
