CARNIRIV is one event that needs no introduction.Hosted for more than 40years,the event has eventually been tagged as the '2nd Biggest Carnival' after Calabar.This event has hosted International Acts like Busta Rhymes,Luciano,Lil Kim, Nigeria heavyweights like 2face,Psquare,Dbanj,TerryG,Timaya,J.Martins ,etc.Scheduled to hold from 15th to Dec 21,TerryG,Psquare,BurnaBoy,MI,SoundSultan,Davido,Kcee,WandeCoal are among the Top Acts that are expected to entertain over 1 Million Guest.
Activities kick off on Sunday(Dec.15) with Kids Carnival along Stadium Road by 2pm before the Official Praise Jam takes place at the Carnival Village by 6pm.On Monday(Dec.16) is the Pilgrimage Day at Lagos Bus-Stop by 10am before the Opening Ceremony by 6pm followed by the Dance of FireFlies by 8pm all at the Carnival Village.Day 3(Tuesday Dec.17th) starts with Cultural Arts Exhibition by 10am,Egelege by 12pm,Ekere by 4pm with HOSH Jam closing the Day by 7pm all at the Carnival Village.Portharcourt Tourist Beach kicks off Day 4(Wednesday Dec.18th) with International Aquatic Festival by 10am,Egelege and Ekere by 12 and 4pm respectively and Surely BAM Festival closing the day by 7pm at the Carnival Village.No much activities on Day 5(Thursday Dec.19th) as the Ekere enters its 3rd Round with the most anticipated Reggae360 all by 4 and 7pm respectively at the Carnival Village.The Biggest activity(International Heritage Festival) starts by 10am on Friday Dec.20th and enroutes through Rumuola down to Aggrey Road where the Old Portharcourt Town Groove ends the day's events.The Final day of CARNIRIV 2013 kicks off with Garden City Freestyle Parade by 10am before the Closing Ceremony(World Peace Concert) at the Carival Village by 7pm.See all schedules in the Picture Below.
