This week’s edition of the Industry Nite threw up quite the spectacle . It was a special ‘Industry Nite with Europe's finest disc jockey, Tim Westwood, where the legendary DJ was in his element, thrilling the audience with his mix, and interjecting vocals.
Westwood who is present in Nigeria for the first time ever (courtesy Pulse.ng and Industry Nite), was quite the thriller, with top Nigerian Djs thronging the house for some bromance.
The event held at the Maddox Lounge, Victoria Island Lagos, with Jimmie Akinsola taking up host duty, and DJ Spinall returning to the wheels, as always.
Notable stars were also present to get thrilled and show support to Emma
Nyra, Olamide, 2face Idibia and Annie Idibia, DJ Jimmy Jatt, DJ Obi, DJ
Xclusive, DJ Sose, DJ BigN, Fade Ogunro, Efa, Sound Sultan and others.
There
were also performances by some of Nigeria’s talented musicians, Slopy,
Patoranking, Tekno, Yung GreyC, Kamar, gave us all a peek of what the
future of Nigerian music holds.
Tim Westwood took the
turntables with quite the storm, with a show-stopping performance which
held everyone. He performed a medley of songs, which traversed genres,
slipping through House, Hip hop, Afrobeat, Electronic and Soca.
2face Idibia
came onto the stage, and gave a marathon freestyle of original thoughts
and conscious lines, before paying homage to Tim Westwood.
Tim Westwood's next event will be the Pulse VIP Night, holding this Friday at 'The Place (By Marcus).
