Real Madrid player Cristiano Ronaldo and the company JBS Textile group that controls his marketing affairs have been sued over the CR7 trademark which has been registered by an American fitness enthusiast. The player’s signature name CR7 which happens to be the brand name of his underwear line had reportedly been registered by Chistopher Renzi since 2009.
According to reports, Renzi’s Attorney Micheal Feldhuhn is standing firm with his client Meanwhile, the Portuguese star is yet to launch the product in the US but a legal proceeding has been filed against him to prove the ownership of license trademark.
