Veteran Nigerian Disc Jockey (DJ) Jimmy Amu, popularly called Jimmy Jatt has attained great success. His second album, entitled ‘The Industry,’ has topped the iTunes Nigeria music chart.
The album, which features more than 40 artistes, including D’banj, 2face Idibia, Banky W, Ice Prince,Vector, Olamide, Waje, Skales, Zaina and Phyno, contains 26 tracks.
Less than a week after its release, ‘The Industry’ displaced fellow veteran Tuface Idibia’s new album, ‘The Ascension’, which had been number one since its release on July 26.
His first single, entitled ‘Stylee’, featured Tuface Idibia, Mode 9 and Elajoe .
Beyond the shores of Nigeria, Jatt has also spun his wheels across Africa in countries such as Benin Republic, Cote D’Ivoire, Togo, South Africa and some European countries and the U.S.A. Some of his songs include “Thank you Mr DJ,” “Jump Off,’” “Spin” and “Glasses Up.”
