Within 24 hours of its release, the music video racked up 19.6 million views, breaking the record previously set by Miley Cyrus's "Wrecking Ball" (which had 19.3 million views). We have to point out, though, that this is a Vevo record, and not a YouTube record, and that the record holder for most views in the first 24 hours likely belongs to the comedic Korean singer Psy and his song with Snoop Dogg, "Gentleman."
