The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) explained they could not fire the Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi from his position saying their hands were tied.
According to a board member, the football body leadership is “helpless” in the situation.
“The last time we did what we thought was best, we were forced to revert the changes by people in high places.
This time around we are helpless.
We are scared of announcing we won’t renew his deal due to what happened last time and unless he resigns or walks away we can’t help out.”
