Chelsea’s Belgium winger Eden Hazard is set to become number one earner at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are reportedly close to securing Hazard’s signature on a new 200,000-a-week five-year contract at Stamford Bridge.
Real Madrid and PSG were interested in signing the the 23-year-old but news of this deal will end all transfer speculation.
Hazard will become the highest-paid player at the club once the new deal is finalised. The Belgian winger signed for Chelsea in 2012, snubbing the interest of both Manchester United and Manchester City.
Eden has continued to prove that the £32 million Chelsea spent on bringing him to the club from Lille was money well spent. He was named as the PFA Young Player of the Year last season while also being crowned as Chelsea Player of the Year. Hazard has twice been named in the PFA Team of the Season.
