Agbani Darego inspired me - QUEEN CHRISTABEL(QOT 2014) #INTERVIEWFRIDAY

It's my pleasure to welcome you to the first episode of our new exciting show #INTERVIEWFRIDAY. This is one of it’s kind as it promises to be fun, exciting and interesting. #INTERVIEWFRIDAY is scheduled to run on Fridays only and is set to feature influential celebrities who are role models in their society. Since this is the debut episode, we decided to honor the Most Beautiful Girl in the World QUEEN  CHRISTABEL IWUALA,QUEEN OF TRUST 2014.
In this exclusive interview, she talks with SEETEAZAIN about her inspirations, project and gave encouraging words to thousands of aspiring Girls who wants to become her successor. Read full interview below:

SEETEAZAIN: Thanks for having us despite your busy schedule to have this discussion with us.

QUEEN CHRISTABEL: Thanks very much.

SEETEAZAIN: Who is QUEEN CHRISTABEL?

QUEEN CHRISTABEL: Thanks for the question. I’m QUEEN CHRISTABEL IWUALA reigning QUEEN OF TRUST INTERNATIONAL 2014/15. I hail from Aboh Mbaise Local Government in Imo State.

SEETEAZAIN: Naturally pageantry isn’t one of the Profession kids always dream of, as a child what were your dreams and aspirations?

QUEEN CHRISTABEL: For me it has always been my dream to be a Queen and for people to look up to me as a role model.

SEETEAZAIN: When did it occur to you it was the right time to pursue this dream?

QUEEN CHRISTABEL: At the age where your strength is built enough to carry your dream.

SEETEAZAIN: How did you hear about the QUEEN OF TRUST PAGEANT. Through a friend, Electronic/Print Media or online?

QUEEN CHRISTABEL: It was through an Online research i carried out.

SEETEAZAIN: How many Beauty Pageants have you participated in?

QUEEN CHRISTABEL: 6 Beauty Pageants.

SEETEAZAIN: Wow! That’s amazing. Who inspired  you to go into Pageantry?

QUEEN CHRISTABEL: I drew inspiration from former Miss World Agbani Darego. Whenever i see this great and strong woman i always say to myself  “if she can do it so can i".

SEETEAZAIN: It’s been over 4 months since you were crowned Queen, how has the journey been for you?

QUEEN CHRISTABEL: It’s been great and i must confess a full race. It’s been a race of hard-work accompanied with greater achievements. Am currently working on my project ‘I CAN HELP, YES WE CAN’.

SEETEAZAIN: Tell us more about this project?

QUEEN CHRISTABEL: It’s a Humanitarian project for Youth Empowerment, Community Reachout, Peace and Educational tour. It is also a clarion call against Child Labour, Cultism, Rape and Trafficking in Nigeria.

SEETEAZAIN: Nice one. Howfar has your campaign reached?

QUEEN CHRISTABEL: We are still reaching out to good kindhearted Nigerians to come and lets put our heads together and make this project a success thereby enabling a better society for everyone.

SEETEAZAIN: How did you cope with other contestants while in Camp?

QUEEN CHRISTABEL: Am usually a friendly and generous person and those qualities helped me to live in unison with other contestants and i also knew why i was there and focused on winning the Crown.

SEETEAZAIN: Do you still talk and sometimes hangout with them?

QUEEN CHRISTABEL: During my leisure yes I do.

SEETEAZAIN: I know must have heard how previous Winners of QUEEN OF TRUST lost their glory due to dishonesty among other factors. How do you intend to keep a clean slate?

QUEEN CHRISTABEL: Well there is a saying that says “if must be great then you must learn from other’s mistake and do better”. First, i will find out their fault and work on it. Secondly, i also realize the Directors, Boss and myself need to work in unity because at the end of my reign i want to set a pace for others to follow.

SEETEAZAIN: Being a celebrity has it’s own advantages and disadvantages. The most common is the issue of time, how do you cope with your spouse?

QUEEN CHRISTABEL: Laughs. Plan and determination has it all.

SEETEAZAIN: What his reaction when you told him you wanted to contest for QUEEN OF TRUST 2014?

QUEEN CHRISTABEL: Him? Never said there was a him or not. Laughs.

SEETEAZAIN: 2 things are involved: is either there is or there isn’t.

QUEEN CHRISTABEL: Hmmmmm i think that should be later for some other time. Laughs.

SEETEAZAIN: QUEEN OF TRUST won the Pageant Of The Year at TRIK Africa Women Award and you received the award in Lagos. How was the feelings?

QUEEN CHRISTABEL: It was indeed unforgettable moment and an achieving one. I feel honored to receive the award.

SEETEAZAIN: The 7th edition is around the corner and in few day time, forms will be on sale. What is your advice to those thousands of girls aspiring to wear your prestigious crown?

QUEEN CHRISTABEL: My little advice to them is that they should be fully prepared for the journey. They should also know patience is the virtue and hard-work really pays. They should also be smart, creative and go get want they want with determination and at the end the crown would be theirs. Laughs.

SEETEAZAIN: Finally any shout-out to Family, fans, loved ones, etc?

QUEEN CHRISTABEL: Yea(smiles). I want to give a special shout-out to my family for all the love and support. To my sweetest QUEEN MOTHER(QUEEN Preye Inokoba) for been a friend, sister and all. To my boss Mr. Kelvin(CEO 001 ENTERTAINMENT) for he’s understanding and trust in me all these months. And finally to my dearest SHOLA OBAISI you are the best.
