World Cup winning captain Fabio Cannavaro has received a 10 month jail sentence for breaching orders to stay off his property, which was seized by authorities.
The former Parma, Internazionale, Juventus and Real Madrid defender, now coach of Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande, is being probed for tax evasion and was ordered not to enter his property during the investigation.

But he was caught going for a swim with his wife, Daniel Arenoso, who along with his brother Paolo, a Serie A player with Sassuolo, were also sentenced.
The jail term is suspended while the three appeal the decision.
In October 2014, $1.4m worth of goods and a yacht were seized by authorities, as Cannavaro’s Fd Service is being investigated for underpaying on Corporation Tax, Regional Tax and VAT between 2005 and 2010.
