A female suicide bomber has launched an attack on a crowded market in Biu, Borno State. The attack occurred today, February 12, and is the latest of many carried out by young women. 'There has been a suicide attack by a female suicide bomber in the market this afternoon," a resident Babagani Ali told AFP. Another witness is said to have corroborated Ali’s account but no official casualty figures have been released.
