Before Empire Mates Entertainment boss chose stage name Banky W, he was known as Olubankole Wellington. Born on March 27, the 33 year old cancer survivor shared a baby photo on his Instagram page. He who is responsible for discovering popstar Wizkid is an ambassador for 3 huge brands; Ciroc, MTN and Samsung. Banky who has to date released 3 albums is a graduate of the prestigious New York Film Academy and is a certified director. He returned to Nigeria which his degree and has since then directed his own music videos Mercy and Lowkey. The Jaiye Ori Mi singer is currently in Houston, US where he is working in his 4th album with award winning producer Cobhams Asuquo.
