Yaya Toure is 'Africa's Highest Earning Footballer'

Manchester City midfielder, Yaya Toure is the highest earning footballer in Africa according to a report by French Football. The research revealed that the Cote d'Ivoire captain earned about $21.9m in 2014 making him the 11th highest earning footballer in the world alongside Chelsea and Belgian forward, Eden Hazard. Yaya Toure who just won the African Cup of Nations with Côte d’Ivoire is the only African in the 20-man- rich list released by French Football. He was recently named the second richest football in Africa by Goal behind Samual Eto.
