Super Eagles Forward Chinedu Obasi dumped by Schalke 04

Super Eagles forward Chinedu Obasi has been told by his German club Schalke 04 that is contract which will expire at the end of the current season will not be renewed. The forward joined the Bundisliga outfit on loan in December 2011 and later made his move permanent after impressing. But after struggling with to get first team shirt this season, the club is ready to let him go at the end of the season,German newspaper Bild reports. The Super eagles striker and four other Schalke 04 players Trainquillo Barnetta, Christian Fuchs, Felipe Santana and Christian Clemens are to be disposed by the next transfer window opening,to increase their transfer funds.
