Two detained following Fenerbahce bus attack

Trabzon governor Abdul Celil Oz has confirmed two people have been arrested in the wake of the weekend's shocking events Turkish police has detained two people in connection with a gun attack on Fenerbahce's team bus over the weekend. The Istanbul side's bus was fired on by attackers armed with shotguns as they were returning home from their 5-1 victory over Rizespor on Saturday, leaving the vehicle's driver wounded but the players and staff unharmed.
The driver was hospitalised with wounds he suffered from the attack and doctors have since confirmed that a metal object was found in the driver's head Trabzon governor Abdul Celil Oz has now confirmed that two people have been apprehended in the Surmene region of the city following the brutal attack. Following the incident, Turkish Football Federation (TFF) suspended the top flight at Fenerbahce's request. TFF officials confirmed on Monday that the league will be halted for a week with scheduled cup quarter-finals also postponed.
