Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole got remarried on Friday, May 15, 2015, and the affair set many tongues wagging. The governor tied the knot with beautiful Cape Verdean, Iara Fortes 5 years after the death of first wife, Clara. Oshimhole’s wedding was the major topic on social media for three days and here are five reasons why:

1. Short Notice: News of the governor’s impending nuptials came out on Wednesday, May 13, barely 48 hours to the wedding.

2.  Age Difference: The governor is 63 and his beautiful bride is said to be 36-years-old.

3. Child's Absence: Oshiomhole’s daughter, Winifred, didn’t attend the wedding citing a busy schedule.
