On June 8, 2015, Nollywood actor/director and producer turned politician, Desmond Olusola Elliot was sworn into office at the Lagos State House of Assembly as a member representing Surulere 01 Constituency. At the ceremony, were his wife and fellow Nollywood stars like Ramsey Nouah, Monalisa Chinda who came to support the Nollywood star.
