More than €1.03billion (£752.9million) was distributed among the European teams in last season’s Champions League. Defeated finalists Juventus earned the most from the 2014/15 edition of the tournament, pocketing a total of €89.1million (£65.25m). European champions Barcelona, meanwhile, took home a total of €61m (£44.6m)- €28.1m less than the opponents they hammered 3-1 in Berlin. The highest earning English team was Manchester City (€45.85m) followed by Chelsea (€39.23m), Arsenal (€36.38m) and Liverpool (€33.59m).
