His performances at the U-17 World Cup shot him into global attention and along it came admirers. The German side on Thursday, January 28 posted a photo of the striker training with them and revealed that they have made a deal with Ultimate Strikers Academy in Nigeria to sign the player in 2017.
At 16, Osimhen cannot sign any deal with Wolfsburg because of the international regulations that states that a player under the age of 18 can only be signed unless strict criteria are met. Wolfsburg have also made a deal with Ultimate Strikers Academy to bring other Nigerian players for trail at the club.
