Rooney, Eto'o, Yaya Toure to play in testimonial of Joseph Yobo

Some African football legends will be storming Port Harcourt in May for the testimonial game of former Super Eagles captain, Joseph Yobo. Yobo made his senior international debut for Nigeria against Zambia in a 2002 FIFA World Cup qualifier on 24 March 2001. He has been capped 100 times and represented the Super Eagles at three FIFA World Cups and six Africa Cup of Nations tournaments before he retired in 2014. His testimonial is set to hold on Wednesday, May, 25 and the likes of Samuel Eto'o and Yaya Toure are expected at the event.

Yobo's former teammate at Everton, Wayne Rooney is also expected at the testimonial match. The big event is tagged 'The Joseph Yobo Centenary Game' the encounter is being put together by the Joseph Yobo Foundation in partnership with the Rivers State Government.
