YBNL Nation star, Lil Kesh, held his album listening party at Industry Nite, on Wednesday, 16 March, 2016 where he delivered a sensational performance.
It was a super-charged night at Spice Route, Victoria Island, Lagos where the weekly event, hosted by Spanky and Dj Consequence, saw a large crowd turn up to listen to the album for the first time. A number of upcoming acts opened the show, setting the tone for what would become a truly memorable show.
Lil Kesh arrived on stage to an expectant audience and he brought the house down, to the delight of the excited audience. He delivered stellar performances of his monster hit songs, carrying the crowd along all the way. He was joined on stage by label mate and friend, Viktohand ‘Cause Trouble’ collaborator, YCEE, who were around to show support. Also present at the event were YBNL Nation boss, Olamide Baddo, Simi, Falz, Small Doctor, Dammy Krane, the rest of the YBNL Nation crew, and many others.
The highlight of the show was when Kesh took time out to appreciate his label boss, Olamide, thanking him for all his support in the last couple of years and for believing in him enough to sign him and give his career the massive boost it needed. He also showed gratitude to Viktoh for introducing him to Olamide. The highly anticipated album, titled Young And Getting It (#YAGI), was released on iTunes as soon as the show was over, in the early hours of Thursday, 17 March, 2016. Lil Kesh has been the focus of social media conversations following the show and album release, especially trending continuously on Twitter since the album was released.
