The official recognition of the Zionist regime in 1948 by the U.N and for that matter in a land that had been occupied by force and at the cost of many lives and much destruction is a typical instance of use of influence by colonialist power in the U.N.

Such excuses as the provision of refuge for the Jewish emigrants, who were escaping from Nazi tyrannies, were indeed used to provide a pretext for the implementation of the ultimate objective of the colonialist. This was to create a “trusted” and “secure” regime in a very important and highly sensitive region, where they had long smelt the presence of oil, the very substance on which the entire mechanism of the West’s Industrial economic and political level depends.

The Western power pursued their sinister objective –i.e., the planting of a lucky Zionist Regime- in a wrapping of deceptive but popular slogans so as to exploit the humanitarian sentiments of the people of the world along with their own abuse of influence within the U.N.

Among the major circumstance which contributed to the creation of the Zionist regime in the region are:

(a) The colonization of most Muslim countries especially those in the region, by the west, and

 (b) Internal wrangling and power struggle among various families and clans in those countries.

Although the colonialists could have continued to use their lackey rulers as a safe bridgehead to perpetuate their pillage of the Divinely-blessed resources of the region especially oil- nonetheless, thanks to the spiritual rule of Islam in the region and the religious sentiments of the Indigenous population, they regarded this bridgehead as temporary, insecure and shaky. Therefore, they initially created the core of a supposedly ‘lasting’ and ‘secure’ regime as a Zionist ‘state’ and then gradually, by encouraging and assisting the Jews from all over the world to immigrate to the usurped territory, they paved the way for the establishment of a seemingly and supposedly fully-fledged ‘state’ in the region.

This maliciously forged ‘state’, which had initially been created in the small usurped land of Palestine, later occupied and annexed to it’s illegimate domin other such as the Golan Height, the West Bank of the River Jordan, the East of Bait-ul-Moqaddas and the Ghaza Strip.

Among the visible and tangible results of the creation of the usurper and aggressor Zionist regime are:

(a) Homelessness of millions of Palestinian refugees, who were forced out of their homes and homeland.

(b) Massacre of tens of thousands of innocent people in the occupied territory. (c) Mass-killing of innocent people at such Palestinian refugee camps such as Sabra and Shatila, and many other horied crime.

The wars that have so far been fought to liberate Palestine and Quds have all failed because none of them has taken it’s inspiration from the profound, historic and all-encompassing ideology of Islam. The aim pursued by most of the Arab regimes who have been involved in war against the Zionist has been largely to win the leadership of the Arabs world, to gain fame and influence, to flaunt their “competence” in the realm of diplomacy, and to establish themselves as an author in world politics.

As a result of such egolistic deeds, the sturdy and firmly-rooted tree of Islam turned into tiny trembling twigs which could easily snapped even by an infant.

Since the very early days of the inception of the Zionist regime, the grand leader of Islamic Revolution, Late Imam Khomeini, has constantly and consistently campaigned against this usurper regime, in every possible way, for the liberation of Quds. This scared trend persisted through to the victory of the Islamic Revolution and will, Insha-Allah, continue until the holy objectives of World Muslims have been fulfilled.

Following the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the Islamic Republic of Iran severed all it’s inherited tie with the Usurper Zionist regime, turned the Zionist regime’s embassy in Tehran into a Palestinian embassy, discontinued the flow of oil to the Zionist region and expelled all the Zionist regime’s spies who had been in Iran under a ‘diplomatic’ guise, furthermore, the Islamic Republic has made extensive efforts, on the political plan to eliminate the Zionist regime from the scene of World politics.

Another significant measure taken by the Islamic Republic of Iran to help create a United front for Muslims sacred liberation campaigns is the naming of the last Friday of Ramadan as the Day of Quds, when under the auspices of our exalted religion, and especially drawing on the blessings of this month of fasting, Muslims all over the world will, Insha-Allah, join forces and actively participate in the liberation of the Holy land from the claws of the Zionists. In the short period of time since it’s inception assignment, and despite all the pressures exercised by some lackey governments to stall it, Quds Day has witnessed increasing participation of Muslims of various countries in demonstration help on this occasion.

Quds Day indeed, provides a valid ‘acid test’ to demonstrate integrity, or otherwise, of the so-called ‘Islamic’ governments in their expression of will to stand against the usurper Zionist regime.

Quds Day is a day when the Muslim People of the world will be able to see for themselves the vivid and indisputable evidence as to which regimes are in collaboration with the Zionists and which governments or individuals are in unison with Islam.

Quds Day is a manifestation of Muslim Solidarity and Unity worldwide. It is a day when all the people of the world, regardless of their nationality, religion or political affiliation, will collectively call for the liberation of Quds.

The bitter experience of nearly 70 years of Zionist occupation of Quds has taught us that what is crucially needed for the liberation of Quds is, above all, unity of thought, politics and arms among the countries adjacent to the occupied Palestine, The only solution for the realization of such unity would be for all countries to hold fast to the path of Allah and follow His instructions to the letter.

When Muslim people of the world, see that Zionist regime never seems to be content with the occupied territory and it’s intent on expanding it day by day, when they see that the method used by World Oppressors in their treatment of the question of Palestine has been based on a “hit-and-wait-for-feedback” strategy to further consolidate their own position. When they go through the bitter and humiliating experience with the so-called ‘mediation deligations’ when they hear the Zionist leader unashamedly and brazen-faced say: “there is no need for the Israelites to hold demonstrations to prove their sovereignty over Jerusalem”, implying that it belongs to them, when they see that the aggressor Zionist are determined to annihilate Islam’s first Qiblah under the pretext of Christians who reportedly await the return of Jesus Christ, they (i.e. Muslims) become forever more aware of the religio-political significance of the Day of Quds.

Muslims have learnt from experience that whenever they relied on talks and negotiations, the outcome has been nothing but humiliations and disgrace for them, but that whenever they have resorted to arms and to their zest for Martyrdom, they have inflicted heavy blows upon the Zionist.

Indeed whenever, the enemies of Islam realized the continuation of War would lead to the total destruction of the Zionists, then would initiate and promote talks and negotiations through their agents in the region. But, again experience has shown that such talks have always been used as part of a ploy to buy time for further consolidation and re-strengthening of Zionists military machine.

So far, it has been proven that the Zionist regime will not withdraw an inch from the occupied territory as a result of talk and negotiations, nor has it ever honoured it’s commitments. And whenever it has appeared to withdraw from some point, it has advanced it’s expansionist policies on other areas.

If the disgrace of the Camp David Accord for the submissive rulers of the region were to be limited to the eventual hoisting of the Zionist flag over the city of Cairo with millions of Muslim inhabitant, this in itself would be sufficient to draw the mercenary leaders of Egypt in eternal contempt.

This terrible experience as well as many more bitter ones, will have taught us that the only solution to the liberation of Quds is to be found in relentless struggle against the Zionist usurpers, which will, Insha-Allah, lead to the liberation of all the occupied territory of Bait-ul-Moqaddas for all divine religions.

This will only be a prelude to the liberation of millions of oppressed people throughout the world, Muslims as well as non-Muslims. INSHA ALLAH.
