The Peace Achievers Award is an annual event organised to recognise individuals and organisations in Africa who have demonstrated strong commitment to serving their community while maintaining a global mindset. Founded by the Peace Ambassadors Agency, the award brings together the best and the brightest in Africa to work together towards a more peaceful future. The fifth edition is scheduled to take place at the Sheraton Hotels in Abuja on Saturday, September 24, 2016.
Patoranking have been nominated alongside Olamide, Diamond Platnumz, Davido, Ycee and Stonebwoy, for Africa Fast Rising Artiste of the Year. Alhaji Aliko Dangote, chairman of Dangote Group, and former president of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo have been selected along with four other individuals for the 2016 edition of the Lifetime Achievement award. Other nominees for this prestigious award are Actor Oc Ukeje, Daniel K Daniel, Media Mogul, Mo Abudu, Ayo Animashaun, veteran comedian, AY, Speaker Yakubu Dogara, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, Senior Pastor of COZA amongst others.
