Miss Philippines Megan Young has won the coveted Miss World 2013
title, beating 126 other contestants at a glittering ceremony in Bali,
Indonesia.Miss World 2013 was handed her crown by the reigning Miss
World 2012, Wenxia Yu of China, and cheered on by second and third
runners-up, Miss France Marine Lorphelin and Miss Ghana Carranzar Naa
Okailey Shooter.As part of the contest, competitors were asked why they felt they should be awarded the title."I will use my core values in my understanding, not only helping
others but to show other people how they can understand others and
together as one we shall help society," Young answered.According to the Miss World Official website, the 23-year-old
is currently studying digital film-making. Megan has worked in films,
