Olawale Ayodele Ojo, a 400 level Agronomy Student of Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomoso, Oyo State, has emerged winner of the MTN Project Fame West Africa (season 6).He was voted and announced winner of the keenly contested competition on Saturday night at the Ultima Studios, Admiralty Way, Lekki.Olawale was closely followed by Immaculate as the first runner up, while Niniola Apata and Margaret Cephas became the third and second runners up respectively.Rowland Ricketts and Omolayo Peter Babawale recorded the least number of votes out of the six contestants that made it to the final of the music competition.Olawale, who will smile home with brand new car, N5million cash prize and a recording contract worth millions of naira, is fondly referred to by friends as ‘pimp’ because of his amazing skill in laptop and phone repairs.Olawale becomes the sixth winner of the popular TV show joining past winners Iyanya, iMyke, Chidinma, Monica and Ayo.The show kicked off in June 2013 with a Project Fame tour held in three cities – Abuja, Port Harcourt and Lagos.
