Real Madrid striker, Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly donated 7 million euros to help the aid relief efforts for Nepal families who have been displaced from their homes due to the devastating earthquake in the country. The earthquake which affected the Kathmandu Valley, the Kathmandu Durbar Square, the Patan Durbar Square and the Bhaktapur Durbar Square struck Nepal on Saturday, April 25, 2015, killing 8,010 people and leaving over 18,946 people injured. According to French sports magazine, So Foot, the former Manchester United star, who had earlier called upon his Facebook followers to donate to help Nepal children and families, handed the sum of €7M to the charitable organisation Save the Children, which is helping survivors of the earthquake in the Asian country.
