Just before the just concluded general elections, 2Face Idibia launched his “Vote Not Fight Campaign” an initiative against election violence targeted at young Nigerians.
The campaign which is a 2Face Idibia Foundation initiative took the music star on regional tours and grassroot engagements across the country.
At the Grand Finale of the campaign which went down on Tuesday, 19TH of May, 2015 in Lagos, 2Baba revealed that unlike other entertainers who ran for office, he rejected an offer to contest for a House of Representatives seat. He also disclosed that he rejected offers to perform at shows (partisan and non-partisan), adding that this caused him to lose about N114 Million Naira ($570,000) in revenue.
