Photos: Meet the Family that has lived on a Refuse Dump for 20 Years

Fifty-year-old Mr Yang Shongshi and his 45-year-old wife have been living in a shack on a refuse dump in the outskirts of a town since 1995. Mr Shongshi could not find work and his wife suffers from some disabilities, so they have no means of livelihood save for scavenging on the refuse dumped on the site. They had all their children on the refuse dump and have been raising them there as well They all have no official records or documentation, meaning they simply don't exist. Nobody deserves to live this way.
