Former National team captain of the national team, Vincent Enyeama has revealed that he regrets playing in Nigeria’s 2-0 win over Chad September last year which was his last game for the Super Eagles. In the game played in Kaduna, Super Eagles of Nigeria beat Chad 2-0 in their opening match of the 2017 African Nations Cup qualifying series.

Enyeama took to his Instagram to share a photo of the Super Eagles team of that matchday with the caption; “Wish that this match never happened.” The Lille goalkeeper further replied curious fans in the comment section of the post saying; “I miss the team but it's all good. It’s the best thing to happen. It’s the way forward.” “Sometimes you wish that certain things never happened,” he also said.
